The pattern is late spring and mid-to-late summer, which is what you would expect for hail in north Georgia. The January 2023 cluster is the odd one, and it was wind rather than hail.

The USAA number is high because of the military and veteran population around Dobbins. USAA claims run differently from the others and we handle a lot of them.
Which parts of Marietta do you work in?
East Cobb, West Cobb, the Square and the older neighbourhoods around it, Kennesaw Mountain, Sprayberry, Sope Creek, Indian Hills, Walton, Chimney Springs, and out toward Powder Springs and Mableton. Marietta covers a lot of ground and the housing stock changes a lot across it, from 1960s ranch homes to 2000s two-storeys.
Does it matter that my Marietta house is older?
It matters for the claim, not for whether we can do the work.
Older roofs raise a specific problem: the carrier will argue that what you are seeing is age rather than storm damage. That argument is won or lost on documentation. Hail bruising has a signature that wear does not, and it photographs differently at the right resolution and light angle.
Age also changes what the roof needs underneath. On the older housing stock around the Square and East Cobb we routinely find decking that has to be replaced once the old shingles come off, and ventilation that was never right to begin with. Neither shows up in a first estimate, and both are things we document on site rather than argue about afterwards.
